    Polish branch of Microsoft corp. has been searching for safe, reliable and efficient solution to manage their fleet of company cars. The client priority was to increase drivers safety, to optimize car usage effectiveness and to automate fleet costs settlements.


    Wide spectrum of fleet management tools in one system made frameLOGIC the most reasonable choice, but Microsoft, due to its corporate standards, demanded suitable cloud architecture which will guarantee scalability, GDPR based safety and high service accessibility. To meet customer’s expectations, frameLOGIC migrated its system to Microsoft Azure platform making the whole deployment feasable.


    Microsoft chose a very individual range of fleet tools. Having drivers’ privacy in mind, the geopositioning has been completely omitted. Telemetrically collected data are used only to rate drivers’ behavior on the road – how they are breaking, accelerating, taking turns, how fast they are driving in comparison to implied speed, etc. Those data are subsequently processed by frameLOGIC’s algorithms and create objective drivers rank. The rank is a core of internal gamification project which motivates drivers to driving carefully and safe.


    On the other hand, frameLOGIC system is a powerful tool which supports administration and reporting areas. The solution helps fleet managers in maintaining cars and accountants in fleet analytics based on total cost of ownership. A TCO report helps to compare car brands and models, not only by their initial cost of purchase but also by combustion, leasing installments, parts, repairs, etc. It is also a factual summary of aggregated cost generated by over 200 vehicles and great source of information for further analysis and making strategic business decisions.
